Northern River Productions and Wing Chun Illustrated Magazine are proud to announce the release of TWO NEW, FULL-LENGTH DOCUMENTARY FILMS directed by the acclaimed author, filmmaker and Bruce Lee historian, John Little.

After almost 4 years in the making, with filming done around the world, and featuring exclusive interviews with individuals who knew, learnt from or admired the man, Wong Shun Leung: The King of Talking Hands and its companion film, The Art of Wong Shun Leung: A Ving Tsun Journey, are now finally ready to be released to the public for the very first time!

Wong Shun Leung: The King of Talking Hands tells the life story of one of the greatest legends in the martial arts; the man who represented the art of his Sifu Ip Man where it mattered most—on the streets of Hong Kong, in bare-knuckle challenge matches where he never lost a fight; the man who mentored a young Bruce Lee and inspired him to future greatness; the man who refined the art of Ving Tsun Gung Fu into a truly scientific combat system—the late, great Wong Shun Leung!

We thank everyone who helped us to make this dream become a reality by offering their help in creating these documentaries by donating their time, archival materials, professional expertise and their hard-earned monies, all of which made it possible for John Little to create the definitive and lasting memorial to the late Sifu Wong Shun Leung and his great legacy, Ving Tsun Kuen Hok. To everyone who chipped in to help, you have our undying gratitude! Wong Shun Leung is no longer Wing Chun’s unsung hero—thanks to Wong Shun Leung: The King of Talking Hands, people will be singing his praises for decades to come!
